What is ISRP?

The ISRP (International Society for Respiratory Protection) is a non-profit body whose charter is to provide an educational and informational service to all individuals involved in respiratory protection. The Society convenes conferences at various locations around the world at regular intervals.

The main purpose of ISRP is to bring together occupational health and safety professionals in the field of respiratory protection. Members may vent their opinions, disclose their research findings, and share ideas through the Society. The ISRP quarterly Journal serves as a major forum for discussion and research, while this web site provides a more direct and informal venue for members' comments and queries.

Recent ISRP conferences include:

1997 — Amsterdam, The Netherlands

1999 — Pittsburgh, USA

2000 — Sydney, Australia

2002 — Edinburgh, Scotland

2004 — Yokohama, Japan
