An Overview of Particulate Respirators | The particulate respirators
are mainly used as a safety device to filter solid and/or liquid aerosol
type contaminates from the air. In the past 15 years, there has been a
phenomenal growth in particulate respirator industry mainly due to
advancement in meltblowing and other nonwoven technologies. There are
many types of particulate respirators available in the market today.
This paper gives a thorough overview of the particulate respirator
industry. This paper covers a variety of topics, such as: markets,
manufacturing methods, types and designation, testing and approval
standards, and new trends in this industry.
